Zelda Medina, Board President

Zelda Medina was born and raised in Hawaii and currently lives in Kunia. Zelda believes in being involved with her local community and has volunteered for community projects since high school. She volunteered at St. Francis Hospital in Liliha for 3 years as well as worked with various politicians and spent time volunteering with her children’s sports events.

Zelda Medina works as a Loan Office for Guild Mortgage Company in Kailua. Her company also believes in giving back to the community and her offices has participated is many community events.

Zelda describes her husband as ‘wonderful’ and has 3 children and a granddaughter.

Susan Page, Vice President

Susan Page has lived in Hawaii for the past 26 years. For 17 years, she has been a featured columnist for MidWeek magazine in Honolulu, writing on lifestyle, politics, and social issues. After selling both her modeling and fashion photography businesses, she has been a busy emcee, guest radio host, and public speaker. She is currently marketing director for Coffee Enterprises, Inc., a professional speaker business. Susan co-hosted the Kapiolani Children’s Miracle Network telethon for 24 years and has served as a director on the boards of the Kapiolani Health Foundation, Women In Need, and Vice-chair of Heart for Africa, a faith-based humanitarian organization that partners with orphanages in Kenya and Swaziland. She has been on 8 mission trips to Africa since 2005. Susan has been a military wife, a widow and is now married to retired Navy Captain Jerry Coffee, a professional inspirational speaker and former 7-year Vietnam P.O.W. Together they have 6 grown children and 8 grandchildren and reside in Aiea, Hawaii.

Lynn Ruth

Lynn Ruth is the Vice President and Pearl City Branch Manager Of HomeStreet Bank
and has over 25 years of banking experience. She joined the HomeStreet Bank team in 2002 and has held various positions including Construction Loan Specialist, Senior Customer Service Representative, Personal Banker, and Business Development Officer. In her current position,she oversees daily operations of the Pearl City Branch while coaching her staff and providing support in order for them to grow and advance in their careers. She is also currently serving on the advisory board for the YWCA-Patsy Mink Center for Business and Leadership (MCBL), is a board member for the Kaimuki Business Professional Association (KBPA). Lynn is a member of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce and the Filipino Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, she has been involved with the Special Olympics of Hawaii since 1996 and volunteers regularly at Family Programs Hawaii since 2013. In her free time she enjoys traveling the world and spending time with her family.

Kim Williams

Kim Williams is married to Richard for 17 years and is the mother of 3 children; Tia (14 years old), Ty (12 years old), and Toby (9 years old). She worked as a paramedic for the C&C of Honolulu for 10 years. She teaches and coordinates 1st Aid and CPR classes for Kapiolani Community College and has recently started working part time for the C&C EMS department doing Cardiac Care studies. She is an active member of St. John Vianney church for over 20 years.

Esther Tokars 

Esther Tokars is an Elementary Coordinator of Religious Education at St. John Vianney Parish. Born in the Philippines, she immigrated with her family to San Francisco at age 10, moving to Hawaii after she married.

Sohee Chu

Sohee Chu is the founder and owner of iSohi, an award-winning design and online media strategy firm. iSohi has provided extensive identity, branding and design solutions for companies like Marriott International, Bambeco, DuPont and international non-profits including the Bolivian Street Children Project and Raising Voices in Uganda. Sohee resides in Kailua, Hawaii with her husband and two children.

Corinda Wong, Honorary Board Member

Corinda Wong, is a long-term supporter of Women In Need. After serving over 10 years on the board as Treasurer Corinda is now an Honorary Board Member. Corinda also serves on the board for Locations Foundation. She organizes the annual Locations Back to School project, providing 200+ backpacks filled with school supplies to WIN for distribution to children of homeless clients.

Chris Yozamp, Honorary Board Member

Chris Yozamp came to Hawaii from California over 16 years ago in order to reside in an area in which she could enjoy a long real estate career. Having received her Broker’s License in 1998, Chris has done just that with Prudential Locations.

Prior to her real estate career, Chris specialized in the area of Social Services. In California, Chris worked for Santa Clara County Children & Family Services. Continuing her social service goals as part of her transition to Hawaii she enjoyed her work at Hale Kipa, a short term residential placement for teens. With her to jumping into real estate, Chris has missed her contact with the kids and has done some volunteer work for various organizations over the years. She is looking forward to a more active role with her focused work with the Women In Need organization.
